Pomodoro Bottle ・ Timer Water Bottle

Duration : 3 weeks
Type : Academic Design Project | Simple Product Design
Year : 2023

The concept for the Pomodoro Bottle comes from the pomodoro principle, in which a user uses a timer to time out their work intervals. The Pomodoro Bottle times out your hydration cycles, breaking them into 60 minute chunks so that you stay hydrated throughout the day without ever forgetting to drink water.

Every 60 minutes the timer rings an alarm, reminding the user to drink up!

Rotating the cap clockwise winds the timer up, setting a 60 minute alarm. As the mechanism for the timer is mechanical, it eliminates the need for any batteries.

The Pomodoro Bottle is made up of premium materials throughout. The body of the bottle is made up of Borosilicate glass, with a stainless steel cover on the bottom section. The cap of the bottle is also made from stainless steel, topped with a ABS plastic timer ring.

The Pomodoro Bottle comes in 3 beautiful colors, Calm Green, Beach Blue and Pearl Pink

The packaging for the Pomodoro Bottle is made up of recycled cardboard, keeping sustainability in mind. The packaging mimics the form of the product itself, divided into 2 halves. The bottom section has a foam casing in it which keeps the bottle in places and protected during transport.
